•    You need a screen fence that is to be placed six inches deep and at least around 2 feet high to stop frogs from passing in to your lawn from outside. Fencing the path to your lawn will stop the frogs and most probably they would have been hopping in from a near by pond or water source so try to cover that much area with fence for stopping them to intrude in your lawn.

•    Another thing that you can do to stop frogs from coming to your garden is to finish their source of food. That is if they are eating the critters in your lawn you may kill them by using pesticides on leaf litter and the plants that attract these critters and bugs. If the frogs are coming in your lawn due to slugs than you can take some plastic cups and bury them in your lawn up to rim and then fill them till top with stale beer. The beer will attract the slugs but than they’ll die drowning down in it. So finishing the food source of frogs will make them move away from your lawn automatically.

•    You may use netting to cover any ponds or pools that you have in your garden. These nettings like bird netting will not let the frogs to get into or come out of the water.

•    Well what can be nicer than using a cat to stay outdoors in your lawn? Take a cat and make it stay outside in your lawn. Cats love to eat frogs so this can easily control the growing population of frogs in your lawn because some of them will be eaten and others will be scared away.

•    You can spray saltwater in unplanted areas of your lawns too. Frogs remain away from areas covered with salt water because they find it unpleasant. But be careful because this is somewhat toxic and can harm your plants too.
